Unfortunately I was unable to attend the conference, but would enjoy the opportunity to discuss your thoughts on which EHR products you liked. I represent the "MyWay E-Plus" EHR/PM software, a partnership of Allscripts/Misys and e-Transmedia. Our package is designed for 1-15 practitioner offices...

I'm curious what traits of these products led you to choosing this as a "top 3"?

Hi Marc,

Allscripts has multiple EMR software options.
Can you explain the different software choices with Allscripts and how the size of a practice would impact on choosing among the different software options.
I have been advised to consider allscripts professional--how does that compare with my way e-plus?

Mary:

There are a couple of differences I would consider:
1) The MyWay platform is designed with the private practice in mind, whereas the Professional software was designed more with institutional (hospital) use in mind. The MyWay platform is highly customizable to fit the use and needs of a practice, and is not template-based. Also, the MyWay platform actually learns how you use it, and becomes more customized as it adapts itself to your use. In other words, it notices what your typical use is, and it brings those items to the front for easier access.
2) The MyWay platform from our company comes with all setup, implementation training, and ongoing technical support packaged together. There are no additional costs for training, setup, or support. There are no "balloon" upfront costs either. The package from our company is designed to ease the transition from your current records to an EHR, with a partnership that will quickly move your practice towards effective and efficient use of the product.
3) Pricing - As stated in #2, we provide one lease-to-own price, and all services for startup, technical support, and software licensing are included in our price. We are typically the most cost-efficient product that provides a CCHIT certified EHR product with full practice management software functionality.

I'd love to have the opportunity to show you how we can benefit your practice. Please feel free to contact me here, or via email at MarcL@AdvanTechHealth.com
